Writing news

First, a snip of non-writing news: Worked two 8 hour days and was too tired to post. Had jmtorres over for the weekend and much fun was had. She introduced me to NUMB3RS. That show is just WIN! *happy dance* So much fun.

Notes on the personal workshop I was trying my hand at last week:

Fight scenes - worked on the resolution to one (argument with minor action) the core of another, and the lead-in to one I had already written (also edited).
Dialouge - Need to work more on this. I did get to do an arguement, but my original plan was to do a pure dialouge ficlet, and I got sidetracked.

Both of these take place in a long fic so they can't be shown now. ^^; Gomen, ne? I'll do my best to work on the fic so I can post it! It has lots of sparring (of both the far-too-cute and the very dangerous sorts) and Lee training-ness.

Setting - Well, I did my best, but I got utterly distracted while writing it... I know there's a good fic in all the babble I ended up with, but I'm still trying to prune it out of there...

Other news - thought of new possible entry for the TGQ contest-thingy, which is much shorter and probably more do-able. >.< Which I only want to write because of one line that keeps running through my head.

Current Project - "Firsts" A fic I have been technically working on for three months (short time for a WIP from me, but a long time for what should have been a casual oneshot). Taken off the leegaara love list. I keep coming back to it whenever I get frustrated.
