Doujinshi/manga/binsen sales
Nov. 30th, 2007 01:32 pmMy sales journal is actually up and working, if anyone wants to take a look. Go to
shifting_stars and check it out!
What's for sale: A LOT of doujinshi (Gundam Wing, Detective Conan, FMA, Yugioh, and others), and LOT of binsen (Anime, Game, and original), manga (Japanese and English), anime (on VHS and DVD), and other things like shitajiki, artbooks, comics, etc.
My request: If there is anything that looks wrong, please let me know so I can fix it.
What do you look for while you're shopping? Is there anything missing that you would like to see? (For me, I like to know the author and number of pages, and I like a sample scan.) Would it be better to add a short summary as well? Are the sample scans obvious enough?
The whole journal is kinda long. Would it be better to add quick links to the first entry?
Or anything else. Thank you. ^_^
ETA: OH HO! So after waiting over a month thinking that I could put all my manga and doujinshi with adult content in a flagged post for safekeeping and finally giving up and declaring the journal open. NOWokay, yesterday LJ decideds to make the damn flagging thing work! Star-chan does not approve of this timing. SHIT! DAMN IT! BOOGERS! ARGH! AND OTHER BAD WORDS NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDRENS! *irritated* I'll have to fix that before I can advertize to sales coms. (XD I think I'm not so much angry as it seemed a good time to swear)
ETA2: *re-uses entry to avoid spam* So,
slr2moons suggested I use larger sample scans, and she's right. I should and I will. 'Cause she is brilliant and has fresh eyes and all. Now, I don't want to re-scan my books (I usually don't like scanning them at all, as I am a overprotective), so I decided that I would just have larger scans for future books.
Then I moved all my adult books to a separate entry and flagged it. Then, I remembered that one of the books I hadn't been able to do a sample for because it was all *smutsmutsmutsmutsmut* and I literally couldn't find a page suitable for a public entry. And then I though it would be a good idea to re-do scans of the sex scenes for the other books, to give a better idea of the contents.
Now, put these two together. The samples for my p0rn books are now way larger than the samples for everything else. *headkeys* argh...
