Detective endings
May. 30th, 2007 01:40 amSo... maybe a week ago I got volumes 15 and 16 of Detective Conan (Heiji appears again, yay! And Kid appears for the first time in volume 16! Yaaaaaaaaaya! I LIKE HIM ALREADY!)
But anyway... in volume 16 Shinichi/Conan makes a comment that if you corner a suspect and then don't stop them from committing suicide, you're nothing but a murderer. I've been thinking about that for a while now. Not the quote itself, but... I wonder if Gosho Aoyama and Fumiya Satou get along...?
Fumiya Satou worked on both Tantei Gakuen Q and the Kindaichi case files. And while criminal suicides in TGQ are often the result of brainwashing more than trapping the subject psychologically, Kindaichi case files are far more... let's say "dark." Far darker than either Detective Conan or TGQ. (I wonder if this is Yozaburo Kanari's influence? He worked on Remote, which wins over all three (and Sakon too) in the violent, disturbing, and brain-hurty categories.)
EDIT: I updated this because I got more Kindaichi Case Files, and I wanted to see if the pattern continues. Still, spoilers abound! If you haven't read the series... erm... how did you find this entry, anyway?
( I'm not naming any names, and trying not to spoil any of the 16 volumes of KCF I have, but you might not want to read the stats anyway )
Yes, I'm just stalling because I can't get my brain in gear. ^^; *sigh* I suck.
Is it bad that I want to get a Naruto anthology with a touch of Sasuke/Lee and Gaara/Sasuke because it's literally the only time I've seen them in the same book? Even if they're not in the same story... >.< Also, trying to get one with some light/cute Gai/Lee, which is... about 1/20th of the anthology it's in... EDIT: I totally bought them both. I am a Lee addict.
